Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using CogniGlide, LLC's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
CogniGlide, LLC provides cybersecurity consulting and security audit services for small and mid-sized businesses. Specific deliverables, timelines and pricing are defined in individual engagement agreements or statements of work, which take precedence over these Terms where they conflict.
3. Free security assessment
Our free security assessment is a high-level introductory review. It does not constitute a comprehensive audit and is provided without warranty. Findings are advisory and should be confirmed through a formal engagement if needed.
4. Compliance support
Compliance roadmap support (for example for SOC 2, HIPAA or PCI DSS) is advisory. CogniGlide, LLC does not issue certifications, attestations or audit opinions, and engaging us does not by itself make an organization compliant with any framework or law.
5. Intellectual property
All reports, methodologies and materials produced by CogniGlide, LLC remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Client data and confidential information shared during engagements remain the client's property and are kept strictly confidential.
6. Limitation of liability
CogniGlide, LLC's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for accuracy, no security assessment can guarantee complete protection against all threats. Clients are responsible for implementing recommendations.
8. Confidentiality
We keep client data, system details and engagement findings confidential and will not disclose client information to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which CogniGlide, LLC is organized and the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
